Professor John Dutcher received $125,000 from the Gryphon’s LAAIR (Leading to Accelerated Adoption of Innovative Research) program, which is funded through the Ontario Ministry of Agriculture and Food and the Ministry of Rural Affairs-U of G Partnership and Growing Forward 2, a federal-provincial-territorial initiative. John and Mirexus CEO Phil Whiting successfully pitched their ideas for commercializing the technology to a panel of industry stakeholders. This funding will provide key resources to help take the PHYTOSPHERIX™ polysaccharide nanoparticle technology to the marketplace.
