Bill was previously the CEO of BlackRock Canada, an investment firm with over $330B in assets under management, and the Chair of the Investment Committee of the Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan. He currently sits on the Board of iA Financial. Bill is a Fellow of the Canadian Institute of Actuaries, Fellow of the Society of Actuaries and has the ICD.D designation. Bill holds a BMath from the University of Waterloo.

Derrick Milne

Derrick has 25 years of experience working as the CEO of a global sportswear company. He also spent 10 years in investment banking in New York and London. He co-founded five companies, with three meaningful exits. Derrick holds an MBA from Harvard University.

Tony Simopoulos
GreenSky Fund VI LPAC
Tony has over 30 years of experience as a technology executive in transportation and insurance. He founded, scaled and successfully exited Metavera Solutions, a software company serving the mobility marketplace. He is currently a Technology Executive at the insurance tech company Entegral. Tony holds a BSc in physics and mathematics from the University of Toronto.

Prior to joining Brickeye, Tim was the CEO of MMB Networks, an IoT company, and spent five years as the CEO at REGEN Energy, an energy management company. Tim holds an industrial engineering technical diploma from Algonquin College.

Connor Atchison

Connor is the CEO and Co-Founder of Wisedocs, a Toronto-based insuretech start-up and a GreenSky portfolio company. Prior to founding Wisedocs, he spent over 10 years in the Canadian Armed Forces. Connor holds an HBA from Trinity College at the University of Toronto and a Master of Health Administration from the University of Regina.

Deborah Beatty
Advisor - Corporate Strategy; CleanTech
Deborah is the Chief Strategy Officer at Power Factors, a private equity backed software company in the renewable energy space. She has over 25 years of experience in building and advising technology businesses. Deborah holds a BA from Princeton University and an MBA from INSEAD.

David Boriss

David is a Partner at Fort Capital, an independent investment bank and advisory firm. He has over 20 years of experience as a founder and executive. David previously worked at SoftBank where he held a variety of leadership roles across growth-stage portfolio companies. David graduated from Western University.

Dominic Bortolussi

Dominic is the Chief Customer Officer at Thrive Career Wellness Platform. Previously, he founded The Working Group, a digital consultancy and venture studio that was acquired by Deloitte. Dom is an active angel investor and holds a BSc in Evolutionary Biology and BAH in Philosophy from Queen’s University.

Michael Castellarin

Michael is a Managing Director who leads waste management and environmental services investing for Clairvest, a $4B private equity firm focused on entrepreneurial partnerships. Prior to Clairvest, he was a management consultant at Monitor Company and a marketing manager at the National Hockey League Players’ Association. Michael holds an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.

Paul Downey

Paul is the CEO and Founder of Pliteq, a global engineering company that produces high-performing building products made from recycled tires. He is a licensed Professional Engineer of Ontario and has invented 20 applications globally. Paul holds a BEng in Chemical Engineering from Western University.

Catherine Graham

Catherine is the CEO and Co-Founder of commonsku, a software as a service workflow management platform for the promotional products industry. She was the President of Rightsleeve, a promotional products agency, and previously held roles at A.T. Kearney, eBay Canada and TD Bank. Naheed is the former CEO of Cyclica, a GreenSky portfolio company that was acquired by Recursion Pharmaceuticals. He has spent over 10 years working with Artificial Intelligence in healthcare and sits on the boards of Life Sciences Ontario, the Ontario BioInnovation Organization, and the Alliance for Artificial Intelligence in Healthcare. Naheed holds an MBA from the University of Toronto Rotman School of Business.

Wayne Maddever

Wayne has over 35 years of experience as a senior executive working in bio- and advanced material, precision manufacturing, recycling, waste to energy and medical devices. He has specialized in the commercialization of new technologies in early-stage, turn-around and acquisition environments. He is the author on several patents and lectures at McMaster University. Wayne holds a Ph.D. in Metallurgy and Materials Science Engineering from the University of Toronto.

Graham McBride

Graham is the President of LarchHill Capital, a private investment and consulting firm, and a board member for several private companies. Previously, he was the Executive Chairman and CEO at LifeLearn, a veterinary software and services firm. Geoff Simonett
