Arctic Wolf Secures US$200M in Series E Funding at a Valuation of US$1.3 Billion

November 2, 2020

Arctic Wolf Networks, Inc. (“Arctic Wolf”) has announced it has raised US$200 million in Series E funding at a post-money valuation of US$1.3 billion. The funding round was led by Viking Global Investors, with additional participation from DTCP and existing investors. This new round of funding will enable Arctic Wolf to accelerate the introduction of new security operations offerings, address new markets, and further cement its leadership position in the security operations and managed detection and response (MDR) markets. More details on the transaction are available here.

On August 24, 2020, Arctic Wolf acquired RANK Software Inc. (“RANK”) in a cash and share transaction. RANK developed an enterprise grade security analytics platform that provides real time threat hunting and behavioral analytics powered by AI, and was a portfolio company of both the GreenSky Accelerator Fund II and III.

Said Greg Stewart, GreenSky Managing Partner, “Needless to say, we are happy with the almost immediate increase in the value of the Arctic Wolf securities that GreenSky acquired during the RANK sale. More so, Arctic Wolf’s most recent financing represents an exciting opportunity for Arctic Wolf to continue to solidify its leadership position in the cyber-security market.”
