GreenSky Ventures is pleased to announce a $2.5M USD investment in Rivr, a Montreal-based deep-tech startup that has developed a platform to ingest and vectorize multimedia content. Rivr’s flagship product is able to read video data and convert it into separate streams, such as audio, chat, pixel intensity, and other custom parameters. Turning media into these vectorized streams enables the search and analysis of media without having to scan the original data, which is resource intensive and time consuming.

Rivr is already making waves in the enterprise market by offering creators and brands a powerful platform to scale content production and understand their audience. Initially targeting the video game content creation market, Rivr’s impressive client roster includes Amazon Games, Bungie, Epic Games, Logitech, and Loto Quebéc. This funding will support the company’s expansion and the further commercialization efforts of its flagship product.
